Good coverage with high quality antennas
LTE stands for Long Term Evolution and is often also called 4G. This technology is currently the best developed generation of mobile communications and is based in Germany and Europe mainly on the following frequency ranges:
The lower frequency range from 700 to 900 MHz is particularly important for area coverage. The 4G LTE-based area network also plays a central role in the 5G network. Most LTE antennas operate in the frequency range from 600/700 to 2,600 MHz and can therefore be used anywhere in the world with a few exceptions. Some LTE antennas also support the 5G frequencies up to 6 GHz.
One 4G LTE antenna series for many applications
The BMLPV series from PCTEL is suitable for many applications. The robust antennas have excellent reception characteristics combined with highly flexible mounting options. Due to their compact design and IP66 protection class, these antennas are suitable for indoor as well as outdoor applications, for example on control cabinets or on outside walls.
The antennas are designed for applications where no groundplane is available. This means that these antennas can be installed on almost any surface – regardless of the material – and achieve very good performance characteristics. Due to the extensive range of accessories, the antennas can be used for any mounting purpose:
